How well do we know the fundamental tenets of Islam, relating to our eman in Allah (swt), in the prophets, the books, the angels, the Last day and Qadr [fate]?

Khushoo (1 CD) By Yaser Birjas
In this Lecture, Shaykh Yaser Birjas diagnoses a malaise affecting our Salah, the second most important aspect of our religion after the Shahadah.  He explains why we do not benefit from our Salah, why our minds are distracted, and why our prayers are sometimes mere chores of the limbs.  This lecture opens our minds to the causes for the above problems and goes on to propose a practical methodology by which we can strengthen our connection with the Creator.  InshAllah, by the end of this lecture, we will be able to recognize the problems affecting our Salah, realize the importance of Khushoo, as well as learn techniques of gaining Khushoo in Salah.

Fire Of The GoldSmith (1 CD) By Yasir Qadhi

The goldsmith is the one who takes raw metal and throws it into the fire to separate the pure from the impure just as Allah sends down fitan (i.e trials) to sift the good from the evil.  This is the Sunnah of Allah subhana wa ta’ala.  Often our worldview consists of many fitan fires, yet we do not know why these trials and tribulations befall our Ummah nor do we possess the tools to detect, decipher, and protect us from them.  Shaykh Yasir Qadhi sprinkles this worldview with some antidotes of wisdom to allow the helplessness to melt away from our hearts.  He outlines the means to lift ourselves from a world full of turmoil and grief and avoid falling into the rubble and junk of the metal in the fire of the goldsmith.

Will you be safe when the fitan fall from the sky like drops of rain and no one is safe?  Will you be patient when the fitan weave and loom in and out of the carpet of your heart?  Will your heart be left immune or diseased?

Yasir Qadhi was born in Houston, Texas and completed his primary and secondary education in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Understanding the Qur’an
RE-RELEASED: Mere decorations and occasional recitation upon the death of a family member are just some of the ways that the use and purpose of the Qur’an has been misconstrued. Sheikh Anwar Al-Awlaki explains and reminds the listener of the true purpose for the Quran’s revelation.  The Sheikh looks at examples such as Ibn ‘Umar taking 14 years to memorize Surah Baqarah, whereas nowadays it could take as little as a few months.  Why the discrepancy?  It was due to their application of each ayat before moving on to another.  One must remember to ponder, reflect and understand the Quran properly, thereby actualizing the true reason for its revelation.

Stories From Hadeeth (3 CDs) By Anwar Al-Awlaki
The role of stories in the human experience has been evident throughout the ages.  It may be due to the characteristics they embody, such as their powerful methods of teaching, easing the retention of information in one’s memory, or exemplifying lessons more profoundly. The Quest for Truth (1 CD) By Anwar Al-Awlaki
A portrayal of the journey into Islam by Salman Al- Farisi exemplifies a man’s path to guidance.  From his enquiry into the concept of Tawheed in Christianity to imprisonment by his own father, Salaman’s quest is indeed remarkable. What makes a man trade his status, family and position for a long journey of struggle, servitude, and sacrifice? It is none other than a genuine longing to find the truth.

Light of Guidance (16 CD Set) By Yasir Qadhi

The Light of Guidance: Fundamentals of Faith 101

Before a student of knowledge masters the complexities of Arabic grammar, the intricacies of fiqh, or the details of hadeeth criticism, he or she must have firm knowledge and belief in the fundamentals of our deen. Our 'aqeedah is the pillar by which our deen stands firm, the fertile land from which all of our actions blossom, and it is the foundation from which all other Islamic sciences grow.

'Aqeedah is linguistically derived from the term 'aqadah' - a verb which means "to hold fast to" or "to establish". According to our scholars, 'aqeedah is the firm creed and beliefs that one's heart is fixed upon without any wavering or doubt. Are we certain about these beliefs to which our hearts should be tied? How well do we know the fundamental tenets of Islam, relating to our eman in Allah (swt), in the prophets, the books, the angels, the Last day and Qadr [fate]?

Topics to be Covered in this Seminar:

  • Definition, Importance and Categories of Tawheed
  • Tawheed in Allah's Lordship (Ruboobiyyah): reality and definition
  • Western Proofs for the Existence of God (Ontological, Cosmological, Kalam, etc.)
  • Atheism (arguments; refutation)
  • Allah's Right to Be Worshipped (Uloohiyyah)
  • Manifestations of Worship (Du'a, Sajdah, Tawwakul, Sabr, etc...)
  • Deviations in Worship (Talismans, Magic, Astrology, etc...)
  • Other concepts (Tabarruk; Tawassul; Shafa'aah; etc...)
  • Shirk: definition; history; dangers; categories; causes

"These seminars are really the sweetness of my life."
- An AlMaghrib Student

"This is the first time in my life I gave the highest mark (on the evaluation form) without thinking twice or without lying or trying to make my trainer happy. This is the best Islamic seminar I've ever been to! And the best instructor that I've ever come across, hands down!"
- AlMaghrib Student

Now the question is: What will you unbelievably be missing if you don't listen?
